Sash Windows and uPVC Sash Windows

If you have an older property the chances are that it will have wooden sash windows which will be very cold in the winter and let in a draft. Though Regency Glazing in Hertford, you can have those windows replaced with new uPVC sash windows that are double glazed and look the same to keep the tradition of the house. In some cases houses are not permitted to have uPVC windows installed, and so this is a great alternative. The double glazing and uPVC sash window frames are manufactured to shape and your specification and so will cut down on your heating bills also. The sash window is often found in Georgian and Victorian houses, many old houses in Enfield have this type of window. The classic arrangement has three panes across by two up on each of two sashes, although this is no solid rule. You can read more information about Sash Windows on Wikipedia.

Can't fault Paul and the rest of Regency at all. The staff helped with confusing jargon and I had my new bay windows fitted in a couple of hours since everything went so smoothly. What's even better is that Regency was the cheapest in town too. I will be using Regency again very very soon. David Myres (Janurary, 2012)
Very happy with my conservatory - the guys even fitted it in a weekend. Excellent quality and the wooden effect upvc window compliments the original house design perfectly. Susan Yaygo (May, 2012)
